Richelieu Rock can be visited by speedboat
Whether
you are short on time, have non-diving partners or just prefer to spend
your time on land each night, then visiting Richelieu via speedboat is
the best way to get there! Fast, comfortable and very efficient. The speedboat tour only works in small groups and caters to photographers. The Richelieu Speedboat daytrip does Two dives,
one in the morning, and a second one after a relaxing Lunch break.
Departures: Every Tuesday Thursday and Sunday (subject to change).

Richelieu Rock Speedboat
The brand new 43 foot (11.5m) triple engine (225HP Honda 4
stroke) Richelieu Rock daytrip speedboat, is a comfortable and very fast (only 1hr 10min to
the furthest dive sites!) way to travel ensuring a relaxed day. The guests can
sit in the shade or catch some on the front sundeck while keeping an
eye out for real dolphins en route to the islands.
The Day
Khao Lak is conveniently located. Pick-up from the local resorts is complimentary. The boat
departs between 8:30 and 9:00. As you head out to Richelieu Rock you will
be introduced to the staff and your dive buddies (no more than 4 in a group). You will also be given a thorough briefing as to the
in's-and-out's of the dive site. The detailed briefings always
include safety procedures and site awareness (at Richelieu Rock it's
mandatory to have and USE a Surface Marker Buoy before ascending).
After a giant stride entry you will have the dive of a lifetime. The group
has lunch together during the surface interval on board. Repeat
the dive of a lifetime. After the second dive, enjoy some refreshing
fruits on the return journey home. Lots of chat about all that was seen
and experienced.
You can also chose to combine this trip with either Other Similan Island Daytrips or a Similan Island Liveaboard
